What the check covers
Deterministically scanned, not AI-guessed. Two specialist problem classes, advisory engineering areas, and cheap supporting checks.
Variable assignment
Variables that may be read on a path where they were never assigned, or that are only set inside a condition that may not run. Blank or stale output for some clients.
Engineering review
Repeated lookup logic, duplicated product resolution, conditionals duplicated across advice subtypes — advisory areas a specialist may want to consolidate.
Template hygiene
Editorial notes and commented-out logic left in the template, plus a complexity profile: tag counts, block structure and nesting depth. Descriptive, never a score.
